Terms and Conditions

These terms of use governs your purchases from, and your use of, the www.picotandmoss.co.za website and forms a contract between you and Picot & Moss company 1919/006093/07, P.O. Box 651928 Benmore 2010. By making a purchase and using this website you have agreed to these terms and conditions. Please make sure you have read and understood these terms and conditions when using the Picot & Moss website.

General:

  • Products sold by Picot & Moss are billed in South African Rands and are all VAT inclusive. However, a delivery fee will be added on during checkout if applicable.

  • All prices are subject to change. We will not be held liable for E&OE on the website.

  • Items in stock will be delivered within 3-5 working days, in and around South Africa (and other countries dependant). Subject to payment confirmation and international agreements.

  • By using the Website you warrant that you are 18 (eighteen) years of age or older and/or have full legal capacity to transact.

  • If you are not a 100% satisfied, let our customer service team know within 48. We will collect and/or replace the product, or collect it and provide you with a refund. In this case pick up and delivery fees will apply.

  • If the product is still in its original condition and packaging and we have stock of something else which you would prefer, we will happily exchange it for you. However, please note that we may have to charge a collection, handling and shipping fee.

  • We have made every effort to ensure that the colours of the products on our website & mobile site are accurately displayed, as best as possible. However, as the actual colours you see will depend on the device that you use to access our website, mobi site and apps, we cannot warrant that your device’s display of any colour will be accurate. All product descriptions of each and every item are 100% accurate.

  • We regret that no order will be accepted if we identify an error in the description or of any of our products, services, or the corresponding prices on our website, mobi site or on our social media platforms.

  • If you receive a product that is different from the one you ordered, let us know within 48 hours of receiving it. We will make arrangements for the item to be returned and for the correct product to be delivered to you ASAP. If the incorrect product is delivered to you, do not remove the product from its original packaging, tamper with or use the product in any way. If the product is tampered with or used in any way and is not in the *mint condition that we delivered it in, you will be liable for a 15% handling fee plus delivery.

  • *All Products must be returned with the original receipt, in an unused state and in brand-new condition, with all original shipping, product packaging, protective materials, and the corresponding tags in place.

  • If the product appears to be faulty or you experience technical difficulty, we need to be notified within 48 hours of receiving your item and we will arrange for the faulty item to be returned to us for testing. If no faults are found, the product will be returned back to you, at your cost. If the item is faulty and there is a problem, depending on the fault, we will offer you a replacement or a repair.   • We’re all about the love and have gift vouchers if you can’t find the perfect product! However, we reserve the right to cancel orders placed if there has been misuse of a voucher or unsolicited voucher use.

Payments/Returns:

Any payment made by direct deposit / EFT, has to reflect in Picot & Moss’s account before any order can be released. This will affect the delivery date. In order to prevent any unwanted delays, we recommend payment via over the phone credit card or EFT. 

  • We require proof of payment before an order can be released.  This means that you need to personally e-mail your proof of payment to us at customerservice@picotandmoss.co.za or accounts@picotandmoss.co.za. However, please note that all payments need to be verified by our accounts before delivery.

  • You may be asked to send a copy of your I.D and/or credit card with purchases over a certain value.  The banks have stringent guidelines in place and will scrutinise the legitimacy of all transactions to prevent attempted fraud.  A transaction may be declined if the bank is not satisfied with its legitimacy.

  • Unfortunately, refunds will not be issued but we are happy to issue a credit note that can be used once you find your perfect product piece . Exchanges may incur a small handling, collection and delivery fee.

Delivery / Collection at the Boutiques

  • Orders will be delivered in and around South Africa within 5 working days (payment authorization and extenuating circumstances dependant). Where it is not possible to meet the timescales, we will notify you and advise you of an anticipated delivery date.

  • Orders are only shipped Monday to Friday, orders placed on a weekend, holiday, or after office hours will be processed the on the next business day.

  • Picot & Moss / Architects of Time will arrange for delivery to your door. We deliver between 09h00 and 17h00 from Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays) and we only deliver within South Africa (internationally dependent on agreements). You will be notified via email once your order is on its way.

  • We will use a courier service but can’t guarantee delivery times. Products are under our 3rd party insurers until delivery receipt. Your order will be delivered with our chosen courier company and you will notified.

  • You will be emailed a WAYBILL # to track your delivery on the courier’s website.

  • If collecting at the Boutiques, the relevant order confirmation email (sent to the email address provided by you) must be presented in order to collect your purchase. This can only be done once payment is received.

  • Although seldom charged, we do reserve the right to charge a 15% handling fee plus delivery if the address provided is incorrect or incomplete, if you’ve changed your mind and wish to cancel or change your order when the item has been dispatched or if the recipient needs to exchange the item for something else.

  • Please make sure that the delivery address provided at the time the order is placed is correct as well as the person on record to accept said delivery. You undertake to receive the goods personally or if you at your own risk, appoint a 3rd party to accept delivery on your behalf, Picot & Moss will not accept any responsibility in the event that the person who accepts the delivery at the address provided by you is not authorised to do so.

  • If we have to reattempt your delivery, we may charge you a handling fee of 15% plus delivery.
